10 ft. pole in action!
Sadly, this otherwise vital bit of dungeon equipment is an ineffective defence against arachno-worm ambush.
This just makes me think that dungeon crawling in reality would probably be a lot like MEEK'S CUTOFF, except with one big blood-bath in the end (which would make it slightly better for the bards and audience, but slightly worse for the adventurers).
Got to give out some love to the 10' pole.
